One of my childhood friends, approached me to design the visual identity for his nature photography brand. I was excited to collaborate because I had already been following and admiring his work for years on social media. My goal was to create something fresh and versatile that would reflect the depth and diversity of his photography. The result is a modular brand system with a cohesive set of visual assets that bring personality and clarity to his presence both online and in his store.

A modular system of icons and assets.
I developed a set of 16 unique brand assets that share a consistent visual language while offering variety in style and application. Each icon is framed in a repeated shape to allow easy mix-and-match usage across formats. The identity was applied to apparel including shirts, hats, and bags, with visual motifs inspired by animals and scenes from JC’s photography. The color palette represents the natural elements he captures—earth, air, and sea—adding depth and symbolic meaning to the system.

Built for expression and flexibility.
This identity was made to grow with JC’s evolving body of work. Whether used for merch, social posts, or branding collateral, each asset plays a role in expressing his artistic point of view. The flexible structure allows him to curate combinations based on season, subject, or project, while still maintaining a strong and unified brand feel.
