Designing a logo for CineMaska, the city's avant-garde movie theatre, I seamlessly blended history and modernity. Nestled in the charming landscape of St-Hyacinthe, this theatre draws from the vibrant culture of Quebec, inviting moviegoers to experience a touch of that unmistakable flair.
With a storied past, CinéMaska embraced the legacy of the old Théâtre Maska, and my logo design was a tribute to this history. By crafting an icon resembling both a curtain and an "M," I celebrated the theatre's heritage while embracing a new identity. Three vertical lines ingeniously encapsulated the essence of cinema, becoming a symbol of anticipation, storytelling, and the magic of the silver screen.

In a city that's a blend of old-world charm and contemporary energy, CinéMaska's logo stands as a visual bridge between the two, mirroring St-Hyacinthe's character. This emblem captures both nostalgia and innovation, promising a cinematic experience that's both classic and cutting-edge.
Responding to their request for an exterior revamp, Ifound inspiration in the elegant Art Deco aesthetic, which beautifully complemented the brief. Embracing this mid-century charm, I extended the retro vibe not only to the architectural design but also seamlessly integrated it into the logo, creating a cohesive and timeless look.
